Why use Hire Rite?
Hire Rite is a local family owned and operated business, and because we are 100% locally owned all income stays in the local communities. No money is paid to a franchisor and all our staff are employed locally.
Where do we deliver to?
Hire Rite Temporary Fence Covers everywhere North of the Hawkesbury River to Port Stephens and from Newcastle and the Central Coast to the upper Hunter Valley.
When does the hire start?
The hire will begin on the day of delivery.
When does the hire end?
Each hire will have a minimum hire period, once the minimum hire period has finished, it is up to the customer to notify us when the fence is no longer needed. The fence will be off-hired from this date.
What is the period for rehires?
Once the initial hire period has finished, the hire will automatically change to monthly billing until you request for the fence to be removed. We do not increase an initial hire period of six months by another six months, when all you need is an extra month!
What happens if we finish with our fence before the minimum hire period is completed?
We can collect the fence early, but there is no part refund. The minimum hire period is the minimum agreed cost for the hire.
How do we pay for the hire?
Hire Rite will email invoices to the customer for payment, from this email you can click a link to pay by Credit Card (merchant fees apply) or you can pay by direct deposit.
Hire Rite may keep card details on file, for the purpose of recouping unpaid bills or damages.
What additional charges can there be?
The hire includes the delivery and 1 pick up. If a request is made to come and move, add additional fence, partial removal etc then a labour charge of $45 plus GST per hour including travel time, or a minimum charge of $150 plus GST – which ever is the greatest, will apply.
If Hire Rite attends the customer site and unable to install or collect the fencing / products on the day requested by the customer, for any reason outside of Hire Rite’s control, then labour charges set out above will apply.
Damaged or lost equipment.
Replacement costs for common products deemed unfit for repair, missing or stolen will be as follows;
Construction fence panels $140 plus GST
Fence bases $35 plus GST
Fence Clamps $10 plus GST
Wind Brace $40 plus GST
Gate Clamp $20 plus GST
Pool Fence panels $140 plus GST
Pool Fence Gates $450 plus GST
Pool Fence bases $35 plus GST
What happens if the fence is damaged or stolen from my site?
The fence and associated products is the responsibility of the hirer while it is on your job site. Damage or loss will be charged at the above rates. Plus the equipment hire charges will continue until payment for loss or damage has been received.
Can we move the fence once it is installed?
Yes you can move the fence onsite but please get approval from Hire Rite first. The fence can not be relocated to another site.
Can shade cloth or advertising banner mesh / signage be attached to the temporary fence?
Temporary Fence is not fixed to the ground, and attaching shade cloth or too much signage can lead to the fence being vulnerable to blowing over in strong winds. We always recommend to install wind braces to the temporary fence to help stablise the fence. If you the customer fit shade cloth or signage to the fence, or if you have Hire Rite fit the shade cloth, the responsibility is the customers to ensure the fence does not blow over. Hire Rite will not be liable for any injury or damaged as a result of the fence blowing over. We recommend all shade cloth and signage be removed by the customer in the event of strong winds.
